Hiding in plain sight between three neighboring countries with well-known cuisines - China, India and Thailand – Burma has a lot of spectacular food to offer that is yet to be discovered in the Netherlands. The Burmese kitchen is a melting pot of the best of South and Southeast Asia with many unexpected twists. So yes, expect spices and chilies, but also experience the uniquely Burmese La Phet Htoke (tea leaf salad) with its many textures and flavors.

In this culinary adventure Burmese chef Yin Mon, born and raised in Rangoon, will take you on a culinary journey into the unknown. every dish has its own story, that Yin will share with you. We’ll enjoy eating the food and have a glance at a nation with so many landscapes.
